2011 College Magazine Contents Page

This is my final development of the College magazine front cover, I went with white and black being

the colours for the text because the image was so bright I didn't want to fill the page with colour.

Also if I was to chose loads of different colours for the text, it would make the page look like it

has more information on it then it really has and by picking black and white it looks like the

page doesn't have that much text to read. Also I feel it flows with the house style of the magazine with it being plain.

This is the image I took for my College magazine, I chose to take the picture

 of Dr Dre Beats headphones because my magazine was on gadgets within the

music industry. The reason I took the image on the white background with them

laying down, makes it look as though they have been used by some one capturing the

audience by making them want to be the person using them. Also the reason

I chose the white background as well was to give the image a plain look and stopping it from

looking cramped and crammed of many things to relate to the target audience age range for the magazine.
