This is my presentation for my second analysis of mixmag, the reason I chose
to do two mixmag analysis and not a different magazine is because I found the
layout and features of this second magazine as interesting as the first one.
The reason I chose this magazine is because the main article was on drugs suggesting
that the magazine will be focusing on the drug scene of dance music. The reason I found
this interesting is because I was confused as to whether the magazine where trying to breache
out to the audience in a positive way about drugs or a negative way about drugs. I also chose this
magazine because when I chose the DPS of the female musician/DJ I wanted to show that
the dance scene isn't all about men and felt inspired by the fact they had chosen a women
musician/DJ for one of their DPS features.
